Hi, I'm Ian. I help individuals and organizations shape social + environmental impact.
From the age of 13 anxiety, depression, and substance use defined me. Existential angst ate me up from the inside out.
Then, in 2014, a single mystical experience changed my life forever.
What came next? A shattered perception of reality and a decade of self-discovery. I got sober and committed to self-actualization. I needed to start solving bigger problems.
Enter, Still Point Insight. Our mission is to help visionary organizations change the world by refining the way they work.
My book, Soil & Spirit is a #1 best seller and been featured in Forbes. People have compared it to Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass, Don Miguel Ruiz’s The Four Agreements, and William Martin’s A Path and a Practice.
I also speak and teach on various topics in various places around the world. It’s what I’m born to do.

More About Ian
Years of addiction and recovery forced Ian to relentlessly pursue self-awareness and behavior modification. Decades of talk therapy, deep immersion in the energy arts, and a single mystical experience led him to a discovery: the only way out is in. In other words, the way to transform the world is to transform ourselves.
That is why, when it comes to scaling solutions to global challenges, Ian believes in the power of people. As a teacher and business advisor, he understands that systemic change applied to the epicenters of culture (individuals) and environmental impact (organizations), can reshape the world for the better.
